Professional Development Centre (PDC)

Our Professional Development Centre (PDC) is a dedicated meeting, training and conference venue in the heart of East London based between Bethnal Green and Shoreditch High Street stations.

Our rooms are full of natural light, they are flexible and can be set up in a range of styles to meet your event needs. Our largest room is perfect for conferences and presentations and seats up to 150 people.

Our rooms are perfect for a variety of events. Including:

  • one-to-one sessions,
  • meetings,
  • training courses,
  • seminars and
  • conferences.

Each of our rooms has a computer linked to a projector and a built-in audio sound system. A flipchart stand, pad and pens are available in all rooms. Rooms have their own temperature control panel offering both heating and air-conditioning.

Evening and weekend hourly Rate

Full day between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Standard hourly rate per hour between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

After 5pm Monday to Friday and at weekends.

Refreshments

You can add tea, coffee and biscuits to you room bookings for an additional charge per item. The booking team can discuss this with you when booking a room.

 

Venue hire policy

The Tower Hamlets Venue Hire policy seeks to provide clear guidance on authorised hire and use of venues owned by the council.

 

VAT

If a hire includes refreshments, VAT (rate of 20 percent) will be added to the overall charge for the booking.
