The Brady Arts & Community Centre is in the heart of London’s East End. It is a 5-minute walk from Whitechapel Station and has excellent transport links to the city. Close to Brick Lane, Spitalfields and Shoreditch, a thriving cultural and commercial quarter. This is a perfect venue to come together for all sorts of events.
The centre is a well-equipped, multi-purpose dry-hire venue. It has a range of flexible and accessible spaces for hire. These are suitable for performances, exhibitions, rehearsals, meetings, workshops and social events.
The Studio Theatre is perfect for live performance. It offers a full range of AV and technical kit, with the capacity to seat up to 115 people. The Main and Side halls are multi-purpose, flexible spaces. Both are ideal for all kinds of celebrations, conferences and private events.
The large Art Workshop on the first floor provides a creative space. This has screen printing facilities and resources for art classes and hands-on art activities. On site, Café Bite is available to provide refreshments and food (open from 8am to 5pm on weekdays).
Spaces are available for hire on both weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Community Rate
Our Community Rate is available to UK Registered Charities and Tower Hamlets-based Community groups who are delivering free health, education, employment, or training projects for the local community only. To qualify for the community rate the event must be free to access for participants.
VAT
If a hire includes the use of any centre equipment or other service, the standard VAT rate of 20 per cent will be added to the charge for the space and for the item provided.
Deposit
A deposit of £200 must be paid for the hire of the centre when used for social functions. It is refundable subject to damage caused and a delay in leaving the premises. For all other functions a deposit of a third of the total cost is required to secure the booking.
Day rates
Day rate applies to Community Group or UK Charities only. Private and commercial hires will be charged the private hourly rate. The day rate applies to daytime only from 9am to 5pm for a maximum of eight hours.
Any additional hours outside of 9am to 5pm is charged at the hourly rate.
